Dress for Success

Continuing our tradition of professional development for the brothers of KU SigEp, "Dress for Success" event took place with Brooks Brothers at the chapter facility. Team members from America's original clothier, Brooks Brothers, were at the house to educate SigEp members on all of the intricacies of proper dress, ranging from business casual to business professional. In addition, SigEp has entered into a corporate membership with Brooks Brothers that will allow all brothers to receive a Brooks Brothers discount.

CareerEp 2013 Presented by KU SigEp

CareerEp's signature event brought hundreds of SigEp alumni, volunteers, and undergraduates together for 4 hours to Connect, Learn, Mentor in action, helping undergraduates find that "light bulb moment" or connection that will make a positive impact to their career path that otherwise wouldn't have been. The 2013 CareerEp Conference was packed with learning and networking opportunities. Participants received career coaching on topics such as polishing resumes, utilizing social media within the job search, and interviewing. A career fair was held featuring SigEp alumni and recruiters from over 20 local Kansas City companies to help undergraduates establish connections with leaders in their career fields.

KU Athletics Director, Dr. Sheahon Zenger keynotes the 2012 SigEp Alumni Business Lunch

It’s been an amazing year for KU Athletics... KU Basketball advanced to the national championship game… KU Football entered a new era with Coach Charlie Weis… and KU bid a final farewell to our friends at Missouri.  Dr. Zenger's comments were frank, honest, and revealing. Those in attendance left with a whole new understanding of where KU Athletics are heading. Thanks, Dr. Zenger, for your powerful presentation! We apologize for asking questions for 45 minutes, but how do you stop a presentation like that??? Wow!
