After being an "unofficial member" for years, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at KU made it "official"! Welcome Professional Boxer, and now Brother, Victor Ortiz!

Showtime/CBS Sports flew in a crew to cover Victor's trip back to KU SigEp for his Initiation. This is a picture of an impromptu interview following the ceremony, asking Victor how it feels to finally be a member of the organization he has grown to love so much. The Showtime feature is scheduled to be shown prior to Victor's fight on June 23, 2012. Victor will wear shorts that night with the KU SigEp logo!

CareerEp™, an exclusive career and networking event for SigEp's and is one of the premiere professional education and networking programs in the country.  Started by the University of Kansas chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity in 2010 as part of its Residential Learning Community program, the KU chapter has grown it into a regional event involving hundreds of alumni and undergraduates from SigEp chapters throughout the Midwest.  Learn more here.
